Looks good. Mine's painted and its chipping off so theres tiny bits of chrome showing through LOL.
But its probably cheaper to re-paint it again

Good choice. One of the best visual mods I've done on my car was getting the DE grill. I can't STAND the look of the chrome one anymore.
By the way why are your turn signal lights on the front, perpetually on?

Alright cool man
By the way, keep an eye your foglight housings with those Nokya Hyperyellows. I used the same bulbs for a few months, and they were running extremely warm due to the design, and I was worried about some melting happening inside the housings.

I had a DE grill from day one of owning my GG 09 GTS! The dealer swapped it out no charge after I told him I was not liking the chrome grill. He said, "well, we will have a special edition DE with a chrome grill!" lol!
The only thing I had to pay was the labor to remove the grill from the DE they had in stock, grand total of 17 bucks!

^I was gonna ask for the same thing, but then figured I just wanted the car asap and now I regret it dearly.
I repainted the chrome grille but it started chipping a few days later.
I'll either order it online or wait for a banged up lancer de in a local junk yard...I've already seen some GTS' lol

and oh yeah, to those who painted OVER the chrome, should of taken the extra step and peeled off the chrome. that's what i did, and i haven't had a problem with paint chipping yet (i drove around with this grill for a while before i bought the RRM one, and i just put it back on this weekend for the winter time)

lol yeah it does, its just a layer of chrome put onto the grill, underneath it is just plastic that you can sand and paint. that's what I did to mine, and it came out great. I'll post up pics of the daytime later on when I get home from work

Looks good, but if you have good vinyl guy, vinyl will look stock and have no problems. I'm just not down for my car looking stock.
