shorty ant

looking to get the shorty for my car, broke my stock ant by putting on a car cover and snatching it tight. anybody recommend a good site to get the shorty for our ra's?

Honestly you can check on ebay and get a great vision shorty antenna, but you do lose some reception. It doesn't bother me because I listen to my Ipod. Also you can checkout out Domolution. He is selling shorty antennas for $13 and probably ship it really cheap. Besides the 4inch-5inch get better reception then my 3" antenna lol. Hope that helps.

I got a Perrin shorty 4" from lancershop.com. I haven't had any issues with it since I got it. On a side note though, I pretty much stay in town, so I can't say for sure how well it works the further out from town you get. After shipping, I paid $38.28. I reside in AZ, and they are located in MI, so shipping cost me $10.33. Cost on their site for the antenna was $27.95.

lol...till i get mine, i made my....just cut it where it starts to turn really thin and i put a rubber cap.

I got my Perrin shorty (4") direct from them.
Was $21.49 for the antenna. But shipping to canada for it was more likely a rip-off (at like $25).
