Quite simple,
1. Find Thread for how to install cd player
2. Find Thread for running power wire from battery
3. Find Thread for running rca's, remote turn on wires under carpet to trunk
4. Find Thread on where to ground the amp.
5. Find Thread on how to position it in the trunk.
6. Read instructions
7. Do the work.
Here is my cardomain site that might have some pics to help you.

you could use the write up on how to install a short shifter to know how to remove your center console to run your wires under there...not totally sure about the head unit Im sure its just removing a few screws and you would be done...

if you ask simple questions that can be found from multiple sources all over the net then all you will get is sarcastic answers so expect them....search before posting

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be too sarcastic. seriously, just follow those search steps in that order and it should help you find the answer. If you don't find the answer, just ask me, I'll be nice and help.

Juan Martinez , its not you its the dude who bleeds green. and for the dude who bleeds green . i am actually making a joke out of the sarcastic comments and yes i did search and did not find any . if you found one or even know the answer to my question, the nice to thing to do is a straight answer that could help. I'm not like you, who already knows how to install a deck and an amp in his own lancer. i guess great job if you did install your own ... or pretended . LOL

you will need to get a wire harness for the deck. one that will plug into the factory wiring. you will attatch those *usually* color for color with the aftermarket radio harness. plug it in and your good to go. wiring the amp is a little more involved. i would suggest getting a hand with that OR paying a shop to do that. good luck

Who bleeds green, I must have missed that part. oh well.
Here is a link to a how to install cd player Here are Instructions for Installing Stereo Head Unit
here is a link to how to install amp and sub
Amp and Sub Installation - Step by Step
There are some pics on this link if you scroll down. Don't listen to how he runs that wire, there is a better way.
I have no idea whats wrong with your cd player. I would check and double check your wiring. Most of the wires should be label and/or color coded. Just match them up, put them together, and either use connectors or electrical tape to seal them together, then move to the next wire.
To get to the factory cd player, take off the 2 screws that hold in the cubby area. Next, just pull of the a/c and havac control knobs. There will be 2 or 3 screws behind those knobs you will have to take out.
Next, pull of the area that surrounds the cd player, should come right out.
There will be 4 screws that hold the cd player in brackets, take them out and then the cd player.
take those brackets off and screw them in the correct holes on your new cd player.
Plug up your harness to the cd player then to the factory harness in the dash.
reverse the steps and put everything back together.
It should work at this point.
To run the power wire, you will need a fuse or circut braker. After you connect the power wire from the battery to the fuse/braker, run the wire from there across the firewall over to the passenger side.
You will see a rubber groumit behind the strut area. If you poke it out, you can run the power wire from there into the area behind the glove box. I went back and cut the groumit to fit the power wire and secure it back on the firewall. After its in the car, take off your kick panels all the way back to the rear seat. I ran the power wire under there with some of the factory wiring. I also used alot of zip ties. After you run it back, put everything together.
Next, I ran the rcas and amp remote turn on wire to the trunk. I took out the center console and run it all together under the carpet and rear seat to the trunk.
Put everything back together. From that point on, its just how you want to mount your amp and sub box. Just connect the wires for the amp power, rcas, ground wire, which you can ground to the metal under the trunk carpet or to some bolt somewhere, remote wire. Then just run the speaker wires from amp to the thermial on the box.
