aftermarket 04 ralliart sub install

so i have my old 2 10" pioneer subs that i have connected to a 900w punch rockford fosgate amp, they worked beautifully in my old 03 oz rally, but they wont now that they are in my new ralliart.

can anyone help me? the amp turns on, both stereo and amp are grounded properly, RCA cable is in correct place according to wiring diagram, amp rem line is spliced properly, and the speakers are bridged correctly as well, everything should work, but the subs wont play anything? i even took them out of the box and everything looks good, i cant figure it out

ill post pics of it later to show the install i did

Is your HD different than what you had in the first car?

Moved to the Audio section, this doesn't belong in advanced.

If the amp is on, then you need to check if the amp is receiving a signal. If you have a multimeter, turn the stereo on and measure to see if there's voltage coming through the preamp line. If not, there's an issue at the headunit.

ok finally figured it out, used a voltmeter, saw no current was going through rca cables, so i bought a new one from best buy for like 10 bucks.

when i was switching the cords out, i realized what had happened.

the original rca cable was in my last car which got totaled by a drunk driver, so when i was frantically trying to get all the stuff out of my car before it got towed, i pulled the cord out so hard the copper on the inside of the wire broke completely while the outside rubber looked intact.

i felt so stupid i literally kicked myself in the face when i saw it =/
