header / downpipe

i really need to remove the exhaust manifold, and i figured while i'm at it - why the hell not replace it with something that may be "better", a little more performance minded.

after reading up a little bit in here, i know the Mirage header will bolt right up to the lancer engine, with a little extension of the downpipe everything should be just fine, right?

what if i got this?

would this work? or would i need to do a bit more in regards to fitment?

any help would be appreciated.

I think either of those would work as long as you get an extension (I think it's like 2 inches or so) from a muffler shop. Alternatively you could just buy a used RRM/RPW/OBX/Kamikaze header designed for the lancer if you're concerned about money.
Oh and it's Mr. Fruit ****er to you, lol.

good good, i just wanted a more educated opinion.

i know about the extension, and the muffler shop i've always gotten my work done at is up to the job, now it's just my responsibility to provide the parts.

the price is my major issue, but i haven't found many up for sale in the lancer for sale threads, plus i'm still under the 50 post limiter to post in that section.

so yeah, thanks yo.
