4g93t ??

okay i was just lookn around and saw something on ebay
would this engine fit in a lancer since the 4g93 are so similar to 4g94?
couldnt we just swap just the head?
becuz it looks like if it would just drop into our kind of cars!!
and its a turbo car !!
if i had the cash i would skip the turbo kit and go strait for this!!
it would prob be the fastest us lancer with that swap!
and only usdm lancer with it!

Drives: Tundra, mirage

This is kind of off topic but,

My Tundra has a 5.7L 400hp V8 and it gets about 17mpg daily. It has duel stage VVT, on intake and exhuast. I wonder what that kind of tecknology would do on a little 1.8L mirage motor.

The picture of the DOHC mitsu motor made me think of this. I wish my mirage had twin cams.

The engine on ebay wont be a direct fit to 1997+ mirages, so I'm guessing it wont for the lancer.
The engine on the picture is a direct fit on the 1997+ mirage without any mods to the mounts.

The 4g94 has been bolted to the 4g93 without any mods to the mounts. So, you could assume that the 4g93T would bolt into a lancer. The TPS would probably be different. You'd also have an extra set of plugs to the dash from the Climate Control.

That motor on eBay isn't gonna fit.
The cams are on the wrong side.
I searched, having the same inquiry a few weeks ago.

Nice bait and switch from the link to the pic.

The link is a gen 1, G93T, which faces the wrong way, and it's as almost as abundant as DSM motors in the US. BTW: the cost is a bit high when sold in the US.

The pic here is a gen 2, G93T, which is the correct way, and it's super rare. Why? I do believe it was only sold in Japan and sporadically sold in Aussie and NZ.

COMMIES! These people would be better off living in the USSR. The USSR have practically guaranteed no terrorism, because the government focused a large amount of time and effort watching its own citizens.

The correct way is +96 Lancer GSR (not Evo GSR). You have a better chance finding one in Aussie and NZ, and it's even rare there too.

Never from Japan. You have a better chance of winning the Lotto than finding one in JPN. Those Japanese hold their Baby Evo like own child.
