Anyone got a dyi or newer updated one for adding a back up cam to older lancer
My lancer is the canadian 2009 GT
Had Stock RF system , with auxi ,

I upgraded the headunit to A Navigation n03 mind u if anyone got the hacks and updates for this id be interested in that too ,
So My question is , The Stock Back up camera that are on the trucks on the newer gen lancer ,

What do i need a far as wiring from the trunk to the head unit is it just plug and play like taking the missing wires on the driver is or is there more to it and splicing of wires involved?

Consider using a wireless camera feed.
But you still have to tie into front fuse box area to get a decent reverse signal for the wireless reciever at the headunit.

Downside is that sometimes the car emits an RF interference.
Camera worked like a boss when first started, but after driving the picture would be distorted/fuzzed. Restart car and picture worked great [shrug].
