injen CAI+RRM stut tower bar= bad fit

not sure if im putting this in the right place but has anyone else installed the RRM strut tower bar and INJEN CAI and had a bad fit? I finally recieved my CAI installed it no problem but while driving i heard a bad vibration I thought it may have been the filter rubbin on something but not it. Turns out where the CAI pipe that bends sharply was so close to the strut bar it was vibrating against it. I ended up putting some thin double sided foam between the two but lookin for a more permanent solution may just get a new tower bar.

I am assuming he has it installed properly because the RRM strut bar comes towards the front of the engine instead of like the stock strut bar goes basically straight across. Ill post a pic of the Injen with the stock bar mounted. As for remedies you can probably pick up some sort of piping clamp, and find a way to secure the CAI to the strut bar. Its kind of hard with the Injen because it has already pre fabricated mounting, you could try repositioning the mount from behind the battery to a new location by swiveling the intake pipeing towards the front and finding some new way to mount the bracket and then try different positions with the air filter piping. If all else fails I guess no more RRM strut bar lol.

Bar and intake is definitely installed right cant believe that question was asked but guess all possibilities have to be considered to figure out a remedy. i did see a good alternative better than the stock bar better lookin than the rrm bar. Heres the link Showcase: JDM Ralliart Front Strut Bar

If the stock bar fits well with the Injen CAI then this should be just the same.
