Ipod-AUX help

im not sure if this goes here, im new to posting but i was wondering the aux hole on the bottom of the NAV screen(have to eject it so u can see the bottom) is this for like an ipod wire? i cant seem to get it to work n couldnt find anything in the manual that shows what this is. do i need the ipod wire installed by the dealer? thanks for the help

That's a diagnostics port for Mitsubishi service personnel. It is not an AUX-in.

When your Nav unit was installed, the dealer should also have installed a pair (or three) RCA style inputs in the center console cavity just ahead of your shifter. That's where you plug in your iPod. You need a 1/4" headphone to RCA adapter cable to plug in.
