will a 03 lancer trunk fit an 05 lancer es

I am trying to get my trunk to look like the 03 lancer or the evo trunk where it is just all flat, so my question is will that style trunk fit onto my 05 lancer es?

no, although some member had custom work done to make it flat. Dunno if its worth the price though, wish I could find pics for ya

yeah I figured it wouldnt but I was thinking I could just get a flat piece of metal to fit over the area and bondo it on and have it painted.

You have to cut the corners and smooth it out, so it'll fit, you just have to work with it...
