I just put one on yesterday.
Take off the top nuts (3) on top of the strut mount, and put the bar on one side then the other.

Well, depends, what type of strut bar do you have? Some require you to remove all the top mount nuts from the struts (RA), some require removing only one on each side (RRM) or two on each side (RRM K-BAR)...hell some even have provisions to be mounted to the firewall. Until we know what kind of strut bar he's got, we can't tell him how to mount it.

As for the urinal rules, most guys put way too much thought into it.

why would you jack up the car? I take my K-Bar off and on all the time to get to the spark plugs...(I change them often...) anyway, if its a K-Bar just take the two nuts off the struts closest to the motor. put it on then put the nuts back...simple as pie
