gts mods i wanna do, need info please, id appreciate it
i have a black 08 gts, it already has an intake, exhaust, tints and black rims.
im going to, or want to exchange my tail lights to the ralli art ones, or just tint them black
im going to paint the grill matte black or just change it up so it looks like and evos grill, not the ralli art, the evo
im going to make the mitsubishi emblem red, and take off the lancer and mitsubishi things on the back, the problem is i dont know how to do either of those things
i want those bright headlights, you know the ones that are bright white, and look kinda blue, but idk if theyre illegal or not
im going to get neons but i dont know which colors are legal, or how to install them
im going to put the evo spoiler on it, or the evo hood on it in due time
basically my car is going to stay black on black, wit a little red like the calipers etc
so i like need an estimate on how much this would cost, or where i can do these things. please i would really appreciate the info

For debadging check out post #5(last one) "Debadging"
I would get the RA tails. They look sick especially on black. The red emblem would look good on the front but do the back one too or it would look off IMO. The bright lights you are looking for are called HID xenon. You would probably want 5000K(white with some blue) or 6000K(More blue with less white) temperatures. The higher the # the more blue in the bulb and less actual light output. I have 5000k in my avatar. Get D2R bulbs, they are designed for reflector headlights(we got). D2S are really bright and will blind everyone and are for projectors. Evo hoods look sweet. Hope this helps. GL and can't wait to see pics.

You are right about that the 9006, etc is the actual bulb style that will fit in the housing but what I was talking about are the diff types of HID bulbs designed for diff types of headlight housings. Most people just order which ever because they don't know anything about HID's. Everybody complains that xenons glare bad in our headlights because they order D2S, not knowing the diff. The D2R bulb type are designed for reflector bulbs so it won't glare really bad.

D2S and D2R are socket types bro, don't mean to argue or disagree but its true, when you order a hid kit they are not seperated by D2S or D2R, they are just sorted by socket type, which most HID companys due offer D2S and D2R socket Hid kits.
If your hid kit cause to much glare or aims to high you have to re-align your headlights, almost all hid kits when you install them they aim to high and will blind people. so i always park my car on a flat spot facing a wall a good 15 to 20feet away from the wall, put a tape at the stock cut off and when i install the hids i re align to hit close by to the tape of the stock cut off.
hope that helps.

I have an 09 GTS and I don't have the HIDs, they made a late model with a package for that. Some company selling a kit says their 10k bulbs are 60% blue with 40% white... I thought that seemed a little too high for the color.. am I right?

^ 60% blue and 40% white is purple. I think very purple. They higher you go on the Kelvin scale the more purple it becomes and the less light output.
3000 K = Yellow
6000 K = Blue / White
10000 K = Purple
