Question about the Blower Motor

About a month ago, I had a clogged ac drain. Fixed it, but unfortunately just a few days after, the blower quit working. Every now and then when I get in the car after it has set overnight or for a day, etc, the blower will work but I hear a clicking with it, then after a little bit of driving, it quits. Do you guys think it is the motor burnt out or the resistor? I have a new motor to install, but was wondering if it could be the resistor also. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Taylor
