Aftermarket Side Mirrors

Has anyone swapped out their side mirrors on their Lancers yet? I'm not asking to be ricey or anything, it's just some dumb-ass clipped my driver side mirror (hit & run) on Monday and I purchased some universal side mirrors for like only $30. Just wanted to know if it's an easy project to do or if anyone has decided to just swap theirs for fun.

I swapped mine to some F1 style mirrors for a while, but im back to stock now. There not hard at all to chance. Just pop off the plastic cover on the interior side of the mirror and unblot them.

Please do a search, any aftermarket mirrors that fit the evo will fit the lancer as well.

same thing happened to me, i bought the powered m3 mirrors first and then someone cracked it in half. I am now rocking the F1 mirrors. I believe there is a how to already on it.

Thanks guys. I actually installed my new ones on yesterday after work. Only took like 15 minutes on each side. I think mine are the M3 style with the l.e.d. turn signals. I haven't wired them up yet, but I'll post some pics when I do. Not bad for only $30 on ebay.

I'm not sure how I plan on running the wires. There isn't really any place you can hide the wires coming from the mirrors to the side markers. Too bad they couldn't just hook up to the other wires that were there from the electric/motorized mirrors.

If anyone has any suggestions...
