Side Turn Signal Always On (Adding LED)

This is a how to on making your Side markers run continuously by adding an LED. Here is a picture of the finished product.

What you will need
2) 12v Ready LEDS 8MM or less in size
Some footage of positive wire
1) 1/8 inch drill bit (Whatever Size Really, Just Small)
4) Wire Splices, get some extra they sometime don’t work all the time

Step 2 After disconnecting the side light, bring it to a safe location and drill a small hole in the opposite side to the clip that holds the led in place. See Below.

Step 3 Run wires though hole and pull fast, I recommend putting a little rubber cement on the outside of the led where the wire and hole are to be sure the wire won’t move and to seal the hole. You can test your 12v led with a 9v battery.

I’m like a freaking surgeon, oh yea.

Here is the what it should look like

Step 4 Attach some wire to the positive side of the side marker led and attach it to the light green wire coming out of the light shown with splice. Attach the 12- (Black Wire) to the black wire coming out of the side light harness with another splice.

Step 5 Check Application and replace side marker.

Tips: You can attached LED Lead Wire To 12+ running wire by soldering. You may need to remove the two lights on the corner of the headlight to really get to your work to splice the 12+ to the Green wire.
