CAI question, factory headunit question

1. figured this is pretty much a must for any car. i'm lookin for either a 1 piece or 2 piece CAI with a air bypass. idk if u guys hav it available for your cars or not but since my bro lives in the boston area for school i figured it would come in handy. I dnt need him hyrdlocking a brand new car.

2. so his car has the factory navi rockford fostgate sound system package with the 30gb harddrive. HOW THE HELL DO U delete songs on that thing. i looked in the manual and couldn't find any info on it. and just doing a quick look on the screen menus couldn't find it. so any1 hav any advice on that.

thanks in advance

A CAI isn't mandatory at all, the power gains aren't exactly stunning if that's what you're looking for. However, some really like the sound.

true...i been modding here and there on my max and noticed a lil gain with it. but figured it could at least give it a min of 5-7 hp gain. its a regular lancer im not expecting it to be a beast on the road. just wanna do a intake and hid fogs along with a few led bulbs and call it a day for the car.

where do u guys buy ur intakes from? i know there are spots online but i know forum's usually hav the best spots or a member who sells it himself.

I would say a maximum gain of 5 HP, probably closer to 3. We're not talking about a large displacement motor that can use a lot of air, we're talking about a 2.0 or 2.4 L NA 4-banger.

To delete songs you need to have the MusicServer playing a song. Press the ^ button in the bottom left corner. After that, select Function Settings, and then Delete. You select whether you want to delete an entire album or song by using the buttons on the right of the screen, and then select what you want gone.
