springs for 03 Lancer ES

I decided I wanted to lower my 03 ES by use of springs, but then started realizing that not many companies make springs for the base model. I know the LS springs have a wider diameter in the front then the ES. Does anyone know of a spring manufacturer for the ES?

i just bought eibach lowering springs (6040.140) today.

eibach's website and other website say the fitment excludes the ES...I was getting all four for a steal...$75!!! lol

so i called eibach customer service and they said they should still fit and its a typo on their part because they never tested them on the ES when they originally released.

so i bought them. anyways me and my buddy plan on putting them on the end of this week or sometime next week so ill try to keep you updated on how it goes.

I went to a shop and they ordered springs from Eibach, and they did not fit. They said that the springs on the front of the ES are smaller then the back. The other models apparently have larger springs for the front and back.

I'm miSunderstanding you. Do you the es front springs are smaller than the eibach front springs or smaller than the BACK springs on the car itself...because even if you look on the car yourself, you can see the front springs are clearly larger...so I don't know who told you that...

I had the shop order the Eibach springs for my Lancer, and when they went to install them, the guy said that my car has smaller springs in the front than the back, and the Eibach springs all are all the same size... meaning that the new springs would be too big to fit on the front.

Did you get your Eibach springs to fit your ES?

With what size rims? I have 17's and don't want to rub really bad. I just a little bit of a drop.

Tein S.Tech lowering springs should work on your ES. (part number: SKE06-AUB00) Those are the ones that Teins website says will fit the ES.

These are what I'll be going with when I finally lower my ES.
