Upolstery Cleaning

Im trying to figure out the best way to clean the interior of my car (dont want to pay 1$$'s of dollard for professional to do it). I was gonna use the carpet shampooer at the car wash but didnt know if it would mess something up or not.

So my question to you guys and gals how do yall clean the inside of yalls car. Just and fyi my interior is tan so water spots and stuff shows up pretty good.

Any info appreciated.

For dry stuff i use a big powerful shop vac. Its an older one so its got balls. For stains i use a tide to go pen to start, then the best thing ever the Bissell little green on tough stains. Go light long sweeps with this baby, from top of the carpet down and you will be amazed. I'm pretty sure that the ones at the gas stations are very similar but this you can do at home at your own speed.
