'05 OZ CAI question
i'm looking to buy a CAI for my OZ.
I found the AEM intake on RRM and I was wondering if there were any other places I should look into.

Looking for best performance intake for the car, and it is manual transmission.
should i stick with RRM or go elsewhere?

Psh, a SEAL could run circles around a Green Beret, do his mom, eat his lunch, run a fifty-mile hike, wrestle ten alligators at once, do his mom again, destroy an aircraft carrier with an inflatable raft and a Nerf gun, win a staring contest with Chuck Norris, do his mom, and then he'd start kicking ass.

All intakes are made equal, buy whichever one you personally like the best.

eBay is not a brand, it's a place where people trade goods. Why buy from RRM or EvoM...?

Because then you have someone you can hold accountable if something goes wrong. If you buy an eBay intake (ie. something not name brand but one of those lame eBay only brands) and it breaks or worse, causes engine issues, you're SOL. At best you get a refund. If you buy an RRM intake and something goes wrong, Rob will help you personally. When it comes to car parts, cheaper is not always better.

yes that is all true, but look at the thread here.
its about a CAI, which consists of a few mandrel bent aluminum tubes, a cone filter, some silicone couplers, some hose clamps, and a plate to adapt to our MAF's. dont really see the reason to spend over $200 bux or whatever for something that is the exact same thing but without all the research.
i mean dont get me wrong, rrm and evom has great deals, people, and parts. i have bought from all of them and i dont have anything bad to say bout nothin. just when im lookin for something in particular i will do my research and find what best fits in my budget, whether it be from ebay or rrm (granted there are a few things tho that i would ONLY buy thru rrm or evom and such, like MAJOR components) but for something like a CAI, EBAY IT!
