It's very easy to remove the spoiler...it's just (4) 10millimeter nuts on the back side of the trunk when you open it up. Take off those nuts and then the spoiler is just held on with some very strong double sided tape that's on the bottom of the spoiler. Use a fish line or something along those lines to slowing work the spoiler off. After it's off, I'd just use some vinyl to cover the holes til you can either get it filled at a shop or put a different spoiler on.
