The easiest thing to change is simply the way you drive. An intake can help with gas mileage.

well I normally drive the speed limit though i usually go 5 miles over the speed limit. For the intakes which is the best? or are there real no difference in which intake i choose?

An intake is an intake, at least for the Lancer.

Not really; all of them will give a negligible 1-2 HP increase and a small MPG increase.

The auto tranny "sticks" out from the engine bay a bit where the intake would usually go, so intakes for AT's need to be bmade to go around/over/whatever it.
If I'm wrong then someone please correct me.

Basically, that's it. Auto tranny blocks the route where the CAI would go.
