Hey guys, im new here, and tommorow i plan on purchasing a 2002 lancer oz, mainly because i cant afford the sti, or evo i want but i found a nice lancer for a decent price and not many miles. Mainly I come here asking for some cheap upgrades from exhaust, and websites where I can buy stuff from, I'm coming from owning a 1998 grand prix gt so thats the only thing i know where to get parts from. If you could help me out that would be great, and if anyone is in or around iowa let me know.

i have a magnaflow exhaust on mine.. if im not mistaken though, most people on this sie are purchasing Greddy Ti-C exhausts

make sure that your not after a fast car unless your gonna boost it cause stock lancer deffiently arnt considered fast by any means, but they can handle like a mofo pretty easily

no im not looking for a fast car, im just wanting some body mods, and make it a car for audio mainly, i just like the lancer because its sporty, and has enough room for my daughter lol

yeah man. the lancer is a good choice for looks. get some projectors and a body kit. and with a kick a*& audio system it will suit you just fine

thats what i was thinking projectors with a dif tail lights, maybe underglow, and a body kit, but i might take off the rear spoiler, and im gonna pruchase a better system then mine now it'll be rockin, i have buddies who street race and i just cruise with them with music blaring lol

the racers have to have the audio cars too, something to entertain the crowd while your in between races and what not. but yeah man, those plans sound good, i wouldnt' take off the spoiler though, i like the way it looks, but personal preference

well i ended up buying the llancer and i love it, a lil tranny problem but its just a clog i think ima get a tranny flush, and as for racers having audio in their cars they might have a lil bit but im more into the full out systems custom made boxes for the trunk and a few speakers.
also decided to keep orig bumpers and lower the car a bit, and puttin a new cat back if its the right price, otherwise for now im deleting the muffler, i wish i found the lancers sooner i woulda saved up for an evo if i woulda been a smart kid lol

also got to love jackasses thinking the 2002 oz was an evo, i was called a fake at the gas station earlier and im completely stock right now i <3 iowa idiots. lol
