Headlight Aim
Anyone know if there is an adjustment screw to change the aim of your headlights horizontally? I swear my left headlight is aimed too much to the right.

The owner's manual just says "Contact your dealership for adjustment." So IDK if that means it's a special tool, or if they just don't want the average customer futzing with it...

you could always just pop the hood and take a look at the headlight assembly to try and locate the adjustment screws.......... they should be pretty obvious when you see them...

I dont think there's any adjustment for horizontal aim. For vertical aim there is a screw there you can adjust. Its located between the highbeam and lowbeam housings.

i believe i have found the knob to adjust the headlight. It should be the black knob with a silver line which i believe is a marking made by the workshop. I wonder what tools i can use to turn that. I've thought of finding a rubber maybe like a cone shape to plug it in and turn. I wonder what special tools the mitsubishi agent have to turn this thing. This image is on the front left headlamp. Any one got any ideas what i can use to turn the knob? my hand cant turn the knob.

This is the picture thats in the service manual for the headlight aiming screw. Looks like a regular philips should do it, but its raining out here so im not goin ou to check. Maybe on a dry day ill pop the hood and check it out, cuz id like my headlights aimed a little higher, they suck goin through the back roads with all the up hill and down hills.

Sorry for reviving this. Does anyone know how to adjust the beam on OEM projectors for 09 Lancer GTS? I lowered my car and the beam is low now even if I set the dial to zero. Is there anyway to adjust this manually on the headlight assembly? Thanks much!
