Anyone know where to get cheap seats???

I was just wondering if anyone out there might be selling a pair of racing seats or know of a place that has a good deal on some. I'm looking for a decent pair, that has a nice amount of sidewall so that they will hug real good. But the thing is that I'm pretty broke after dumping all my money into my supercharger and my carbon-fiber stuff, so if anyone out there has something or knows somebody please hook it up..

Ebay has some pretty cheap seats, and the feedback the sellers have gotten on them is good. Some of them are badged RALLIART, in case that matters to you. Do a search in this forum for ralliart seats and you should be able to see the ones I'm talking about.

I spent a long time looking at cheap and expnsive seats, talking to car owners and getting opinions. The issue with the cheap seats are safety, as the brackets barely qualify for US inspection (on ebay, they might not even be approved). Another issue is fitment, as I personally need a seat that forms to my body well and actually does its job of holding me in place. Most cheap seats are rather wide in an effort to accomodate both fat and skinny people.

If you want to go cheap but get something that is fairly reliable, I have heard some good things about Tenzo-R (the Rally style seat has tall side bolsters like you asked for), but they tend to be a bit wide, and one shop owner told me the brackets are weak (but he didn't carry Tenzo, so maybe he was trying to save a sale). I went one step above and got Corbeau seats. The CR1 is made for a thin guy like me, has 4" high side bolsters, and feels perfectly snug and comforts me for long drives (my butt doesn't go numb even after 3 hours!). In my opinion, they are about as good as Sparco and Recaro but half the price. The Evolution 8 seats are very nice, too. They have pronounced sides.
