Drives: 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally Edition

Cool Started to mod my 2002 Lancer OZ Rally Edition.

Greetings everyone. I've just started to do some work on my Lancer. I have a few plans to fix it up, but I wanted to get your opinion on what I've done so far? Please check out the few exterior pics I've done so far. I'll add some interior pics later, but at least wanted to get this started.

I accept your feedback and criticism . By all means, type away. Who knows, I may even like your idea.

Your car is in horrible condition at this point. But hey, you're working on it.

I'm guessing bodywork is part of your future plans? Have you owned the car since new? If so, I'd recommend (after the paint of course) putting a strip of rock guarding along the rocker panel at the driver's door.. Looks like your feet have hit it very often, and the rockguard would help to protect that.

Hmmm thats a lot of yellow. I thought i saw the sun for a minute lol

Lots of places to start. I would say +1 on changing the headlight housing to black. Somewhat of an easier mod plus it will change the look of your lancer dramatically =]

Thumbs up Nice comments.

I will start out by saying that I was laughing. Thanks for that. To respond to some of the above comments:

- I did consider the black, but I've see a lot of people with black. Not that it looks bad, but I thought this would be different. I think it may be one of those personal taste things, but, oh well.

- Yes, I agree, my car does need some love in the body department, especially the hood. I'm considering on replacing the hood at some point. Even the rear bumper and side skirts to finish the rest of my body kit, since I only have the front bumper. As I mentioned, this is a start.

- Sadly, no, I've never owned a new car. As much as I love cars, I wish had had more of a budget to get a newer model of Lancer or anything for that matter.

- Unsure of the "Wonder Woman" comment, but funny nonetheless.

Thank you all for giving me stuff to think about. Hopefully, the next pictures will be more to your liking after I get the ball rolling even further on my project. Any idea what should be my next project?

Thanks again.

Yeah, completing the body kit will really fill out the car's look. Are you looking for any performance or mostly aesthetics?
