Turbo Kit,... what do you think???

I am looking at getting a turbo into my 06 Lancer SE and came across this on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-T4...Q5fAccessories

As a NOOB to this,... what do you think??? I dont have much money and cannot afford a $2k turbo kit. I am just feeling out if this is a good start. i can always add newer and better as i go. (plus i still would need to do work on piston/rod and fuel system)

Many Thanks!!

my $.02...

save the money and get a good kit. ive had friends buy turbos like that off ebay and they are a chinese nockoff of the real thing. my turbo alone cost that and that was brand new with a warranty! its easier to piece together a kit from here on the forums than to buy a "universal ebay kit." plus also not to mention but htere is nothing there for fuel, which means that you would stillneed a piggy back, ecu flashed, or a 5th injector setup for the fuel requirements.

yeah i was thinking about that. i was going to just slowly piece together a kit. I was looking at doing some small projects like CAI and cat back Exhaust. but since the weak point is the piston and rods i was thinking of dumping the first bit of money into upgrading that, since it seems like such a crucial part and then piecing together the turbo.

Thanks for the sugestion. just horny to get some mods done!

pistons and rods are fine for now. im pushin almost 11psi on stock pistons and rods now. if yur gonna do a cai look into an ebay one. they do the exact same thing as the high end ones for like an 8th of the price.

some other mods is an underdrive pully. doesnt add much but its 3 lbs diff in weight.

i forgot to mention about my boost. im only at 11 psi because i have messed with both timing and fuel maps in the ecu. it getting better but at 11 psi im even pushing pistons and rods in my car. i started out with a 7psi spring in my wastegate, then i got a boost controller so that i could up my boost safely and i can fine tune it from there.
