Wiring harness between 08 trims

Hi all,

I'm new here and have searched the forum regarding my question but can't seem to find an answer...

I have an 08 DE and I would like to get OEM fog lights fitted. I've seen some on various sites that also offer the wiring harness and switch but I was wondering if the 08 DE came with the wiring already in place? For example...does the DE come with all the wiring in place that the ES would have.

My last car was a 98 Sebring LXi coupe and all the sub-models (including sister car: Dodge Avenger coupe) were all prewired for all the options; just that the equipment wasn't present.

I've asked over on 9G and LancerTuners about 2 weeks ago and haven't received anything that really answers my question.

i think the answer to this question is NO. you will have to run your own wires to a switch to mount where there are those 3 blank switches...this is the only way of doing it.

I know that my 06 lancer is prewired for the fog lights but did not come with the actual fog lights. Not sure on 08+

Thanks guys. I'd taken a look and can't see any wiring down there either. That's going to make the projector swap a little more difficult too since I have the larger connection going into the headlights and although i have the smaller connection there is no wiring going in to it.
