Hi there. My first post here...just trying to get some information on some JDM parts. I googled ''lancer forums'' and this was the site at the top of the list so I looked around and found quite a lot of info. I figured, this must be the place to get my questions answered. I just want to say that I do not own a Lancer/EVO and have never dealt with this vehicle. Until spending a few hours last night reading threads at this site I knew absolutely NOTHING about the vehicle. This site has helped me understand differences quite a bit.
Unfortunately, I'm not finding any info on the parts which I have questions about. First, I am trying to figure out if the JDM Mitsubishi OEM Option Projector HID Headlights from a CS5 Lancer Cedia will work with the USDM Lancers. Here is a pic of the lights I am refering to:
From my searching at this site I have found that the JDM Cedia headlights are only the same as the non-EVO Lancer headlights. I understand that now but would just like to verify the years. I've seen pics of the 2004+ USDM Lancer and it seems the lights have changed from that point on for the non-EVO's. So, this means that headlights from a 2001 JDM Cedia will only fit on a 2002-03 USDM non-EVO Lancer?
My second question which I have found even less info on would be the Recaro Ralliart seats from a JDM Ralliart Edition CS5 Cedia. I realize that the USDM RA Lancer did not come out until the 2004 model but the RA Edition Lancer Cedia was available on the 2001 model in Japan. What year(s) USDM Lancer would those fit in?
