no issues

I've done the swap, not intentionally. I blew my g94 head, and ended up getting a g93 from the scrap yard that needed minor valve work. All gaskets work the same, only issues I had was that you have to use the cam position sensor from the g93, the g94 sensor won't work and your car won't start. From what I've read, the g93 fuel rail won't fit without adapters, so stick with the g94.

The valve cover from the g93 has only one minor difference in the pcv valve not being attached, so you have the option of going for some aftermarket dress-up chrome if you want.

I've noticed more low-end power, and a sacrifice of top-end power. I've also noticed an increase in fuel consumption. Using various OBDII software I have gone from 28-30 avg mpg to 24-26mpg, and I've also noticed my oil pressure increased by an average of 20-30psi.

I've also noticed that the valve job wasn't top notch, as I'm burning about a quart of oil every 1-1/2 months. Oh well, that's what you get for not buying new.

Hope that helped!

Ya the cam sensor thing is kind of obvious, its like that on all Mitsubishi models in these year ranges.

I would still like to know if there's any tested performance gains from the head its self but not a big deal. I'll eventually get some time to do some tests. A lot of the stuff you pointed out can be attributed to a cam change or other factors so its hard to say.

I've heard a lot of people talking highly of the 93 intake manifold but honestly the 94 seems to be far superior in every way especially in its port'ability.

And to note the oil burning is more then likly now a valve related issues. You'll be fine but pm for more details if interested.

Hey, I've seen this in more than one place up here. What were your usual pressure readings when at speed or wide open? I'm looking into this swap now and want to make sure that I'm misunderstanding, not that this is just a weird thing that can't be fixed or changed. Thanks!
