Straight Pipe Exhaust....

Is it possible for the exhaust to come all the way back and then cant out like an evo instead of having to go over the control arm??

Any particular reason? I have full 3" TBE and am lowered and have mine going over the control arm with no issues.

What's it gonna give you? 0.0000005hp?
I think you probably heard someone talk about straight exhaust system over the weekend and then you figured something like "hey, straight pipe, that must be the shiznit!". It ain't. Your exhaust system is fine the way it is.

When that bend becomes a bottleneck, make sure you post some numbers on here.

no offense intended.

Although im not as blunt as Blaze lol he is right. I have my exhaust following the stock route and I am turbo'ed running the same hp as a stock evo. I have plenty of flow that bend isnt going to restrict anything you can put through it. By the time that is causing a restriction to your flow that will be the least of your problems

dude you wont be making 500+hp where airflow will make all the difference. just run an exhaust a straight pipe will be too loud and it gets annoying really quick.

if you really want to run a straight pipe bolt it up to the car and cut it near the center of the chassis, or have it com out the back and cut off the muffler
