read around, this question has been asked numerous times. the answer is, if the dealership thinks the intake caused a failure, then yes, it will void ur warranty. there's a law tho that says they have to prove that this caused the failure. My dealership, luckily, has seen my intake and even complimented on it. so it's really up to the dealer, but in most cases, yes it will

NO
do a search, they can't void your whole warranty only the parts the aftermarket part broke. They have to have prove that, that part was the cause of the failure, ie a turbo kit doesn't make your cd player stop working.

Drives: A little red Neon. I also have a Lancer that presumably still rolls...but doesn't drive.

One of b's best posts. Your warranty is federally protected. Don't let your dealership dick you around.

b's great posts on aftermarket parts and warranties.
