4g69 in 03-03 oz lancer how to?

i water locked my o3 oz lancer now am looking for a new motor i hear that i can swap my 4g94 in to a mivec 4g69 with no motor mounts or new tranny all i need is the motor and an ecu is this true pleaxw help asap


i guess ill i need to know is how to swap a ralliart 4g69 into an 03 oz please help!!!

Technically you can swap the 4G69 in without switching motor mounts and axles, but you need the bellhousing from the 4G69 to use your stock trans. Also, the 4G69 runs an intermediate shaft for reliability reasons with the axles. And the passenger side motor mount is redesigned on the 4G69 for reliability as well. You will also need the engine harness from the 4G69.

No one here is going to walk you through each step of the swap. I suggest you do your share of searching before undertaking this swap, as it sounds like you need your car running right away. If you rush it, you're guaranteed to encounter problems.

Lol, I remember when I asked this question. Here was my answer, use the search function lol. The 69 swap has caused its share of problems. Look into the 64 swap instead. Lots cheaper and less hassle than the 69 but you would still have a 2.4 L with apprx. the same HP as the 69. Heres a link to a 69 swap thread and if I remember correctly, he had a lot of issues.
