Fuel
Could i put the subaru 440cc injectors and the Walbro 255 pump in my 05 es without a turbo? would i need a piggyback?

Haha...i'm actually planning on adding a turbo at some point. My car has been sort of deadening at times during acceleration....and it feels like fuel. So i was wondering if i could do the fuel upgrade prior to the actual turbo install, or if i had to +T it first is all.

Then get a wideband and do some tuning for fuel/ignition. Lancers do have a flat spot that is easily smoothed out with EcuFlash.

I am all about doing as much as you can for the turbo set up, before you actually drop in the turbo, but i wouldn't really mess around with the fuel before the full install. it would just cause you to run suuuper rich, esp if a Walbro and 440cc injectors are all your going to be running. you'd be getting like 5 miles a gallon. Try some of that fuel line/injector cleaner they sell at auto stores, i use that stuff like once every 3-4 months to clean my system out.

A nifty gauge that tells you your air to fuel ratio, so you can see when you are running too rich, and ECU flash is for tuning yourself back down to a ratio more around 12:1 so you dont start frying your engine

i agree with everyone above. add the fuel mods the same time as the turbo. have someone fix your fuel problem first.

I would use the injector cleaner and see if that fixes it first. And if you cannot reflash your ecu and monitor whats going on i would just wait till turbo to put bigger injectors in but if you can monitor and correctly sey your fuel i dont see why you cant put them in when your still NA.
