Question Paddeshifters in Drive

Ok so I just started to mess around with the paddle shifters and I was wondering does anyone know if you put your car in drive, hit shift up on the paddle shifters and drive around using the paddle shifters without switching it to sport mode, does it really mess up the engine at all?

No it will not mess up the engine. You can do this in your car without problems. It also says so in your manual.

yep, and you can easily switch back into drive by pressing and holding the '+' paddle.

I find the more you upgrade your car with mods... low end tq is improved greatly. You will be less interested in using the Manual Mode on the CVT.

That said, its completely safe. For your engine and Tranny. just dont try to drive your car in gear 1 for 20 miles lol
