Is it confirmed that the 4b11 (non EVO) engine has forged rods

I'm sure there will be some structural enhancements to the evo and RA engines so that it can handle much higher boost levels. However, from the info released so far on the 4B11 and 4B11T engines it seems they are very similar in component construction. Plus the chance that the RA and Evo crankshafts and other parts will easily fit on the standard 4B11 engine with little to no modification seems high. This might be wrong section for this but it does have to do with specs

The stock pulley does act as a balancer, but it isn't the only one. There are also balance shafts inside the motor.

Its NOT a balancer, and having an internally balanced engine doesn't have anything to do with the rrm pulley!!!!!
Your stock DAMPENER/pulley is used to reduce TORSIONAL vibrations on the crank. Thant its the twisting and untwisting from power stokes from the pistons. Balanced engine or not you still have those torsional vibrations!!! The stock pulley dampens these twisting vibrations thus extending the life of your crank.

I stand corrected, then.

Although this is kinda off topic for this thread and may belong in the RRM thread.
To sum this up for those at home who have no clue what this means? in regards to wewalkalone87's question.

I've had the RRM pulley installed for over 30k and I've had no issues... I have noticed the increase in TQ at idle in Drive stopped, not moving. The accessory kicks in and the car wants to jump a little when the alternator initially kicks on and starts charging. Keep your foot on the brake...

Can anyone tell us the differences in the 4B11 & the 4B11T engines, if any...?
The reason I'm asking is if I'm going to install a turbo in my 4B11 CVT ES, I'm going to want to upgrade some key components to take the extra loads of a turbo or any other upgrade...

I am just about to run out the door, but there are Mitsubishi Technical videos for both the 4b11 and T versions, if you poke around on youtube or if someone can provide some direct links, The technician does a good job at explaining the differences.

what psi can the 4b11 handle for a DE/ES if you do go turbo? and how much do you have to lower the compression to install a turbo?
