problems w/ aem cai

i just installed the aem cai on my '02 rally, when i finished i started the engine. is started and then immediately shut off. after doing this a couple of more times it finally stayed on. it still has a really rough idle and shuts off every couple of starts. it also stutters when i am at 2500+ rpm's cruising. does anyone have any idea what's going on? can anyone help me? thanks

Drives: A little red Neon. I also have a Lancer that presumably still rolls...but doesn't drive.

Reset your ECU. Disco the neg terminal on the battery for 20 minutes. Expect the ECU to have a slow learning curve when you mess with its air/fuel mixtures without telling it.

Well, that's a new one. At any rate I'm glad it's running well now. Congrats on the new intake.
