Prerequisites...
-Tactrix Cable
-AEM EUGO wideband (already installed and working)
-Evoscan (installed on a laptop so you can plug into the car using the tactrix cable to take logs)
-Lancer evolution 8 ecu
Step one
cut wire connecting to pin 75 leaving some wire hanging out of the ECU , you will tap into this wire with your aem gauge . Your aem gauge will have red , black , blue , and white wire coming out of it . The red and black are, red for power, and black for ground these 2 wires power your aem gauge, the white wire is an analog output wire you will be connecting this wire to the wire going into pin 75 on the ecu.
step two
Launch evoscan
step three
Right click any scanning object in the list and click the option edit data item.
step four
click add new item in the bottom left hand corner , new item option will apear on the right hand side where you will input all the data from the next screenshot.
I tried this 0.03913*x+10 formula but my AFR display on the Gauge and what was displayed on the log were off by 1 so I edited the formula to 0.03913*x+9 ...
step 6
You will now have a option within evoscan to select AEM EUGO and can log your wideband now without having to plug in an extra serial cable ...
step 7
Now open ecuflash and edit the table below to 0x0009 to get rid of the rear o2 heater cel...
Probably worth noting that this requires an Evo ROM or Evo ECU to accomplish. Also that it is removing your rear O2 sensor and using the output wire of the wideband to provide the ECU a rear O2 signal without tripping a code.

cel codes are taken care of with step 7... I am running the evolution 8 ecu in my eclipse with that setup and I am not throwing any cel's after the patch... Tephramods FTW...

You can also run an Evo ROM on a stock Lancer ECU (manual trans only).

Hey if im using the lancer rom, i cant disable the rear o2 correct? so should i just make another bung for the widband o2, and tap into the rear o2 sensor for the signal to the ecu, or how could i go about this.
oh....nvm, removing my initial question. So does the ECU use the rear o2 for anything? does it affect the idle and running of the car at all to use the other?

GREAT! I will do this, and I will let you know how it goes. I can't wait to log my car with only 1 cable, my car looks like it's on life support when I log now haha
One question...you specifically say Tactrix cable at the top, will it work with the Limitless Open Port cable as well? I just ordered the Open Port cable, it is a scan cable for EvoScan and also has a cable to flash via EcuFlash. basically the same thing as the tactrix cable. Im good, right?
