K&N, HKS
Our intake system is not really restrictive.
I've even logged the MAF sensor readings with the HKS filter and without a filter(very short time) at full throttle and they were almost identical.

You're not going to be able to feel a difference with an intake mod. In your head maybe.

If you're running on the cheap, The mazda 3 intake works with some modification.

The maf adapter needs a 1/8" "gasket" to raise the height a little bit, and you need to cut part of the pipe, but thats about it. A few members have done this, and i plan to do it later.

I refuse to spend $250 on an intake when i eventually plan to turbo

if u want noise get the K&N SRI or Injen CAI 2.4L version. if u jsut want the little power that any intake will give u with no noise get a dropin. i enjoy my WORKs dropin over the Injen CAI

um... do you mean that I will have a similar increase in terms of horsepower with a intake or a drop-in..!?

As I read your profile... you had the Injen CAI before..?? but you like the Work Drop-in more... is that what you means...!?

If taht's the case, I need to re-consider....
