I don't have one with TC, but there should be a way. Check your owner's manual. Is it any of the buttons to the left of the steering wheel under the A/C vent?

Seems only U.S. models have the TC...
and only ones with this "touring package"..
which is not a package available in canada....
way too bad.....sucks...and for some of us up here who could use it....

the touring package is really the only package i would have purchased if you didn't have to buy the other two first. touring package was only available to later 09 models and some dealerships didn't even know about it until recently so they wouldn't have told you about it. comes with:
-HID projector headlamps
-autosensing windshield wipers
-TCS
Only thing that bothers me about my CVT is that even though you are accelerating at a decent rate of speed, it doesn't feel like it because the CVT stays at a constant RPM value. Feels better in semi auto mode though since it simulates gears. They should have an option on the newer ones that has the same tranny style as the ralliart, of course it'd have to be 4wd though

Disabling the TC is possible but you need a scan tool that can tap into the powertrain and make switch changes to those subsystems. I did a light review of a scantool that can do this on my blog

Are you talking about turning it off indefinitely?? Don't know how to do that, but if you hold down the button for a few seconds it will turn off and show an indicator light on your dash.. But the car by default turns it on when the car starts...

then you would have a ralliart?
and there would be no point in buying a lancer like that
