Incressing the Load in ECUFlash?
Reposted here in the hopes i might get some feedback..
Question: Load Scaling NA to Boost
I'm not talking about tuning the car because i already know how to do that but i want to know if i increase the number of cells in the Load axis and then correct the corresponding fields is there anything else i need to change for it to read the new cells?
I increased the Fuel and Ignition maps so that it can read past 100 load and can tune into boost.
Is there anything else that needs to be adjusted? or is it just that simple. I'm unsure and just wanted to check with someone who's done it.

You can't increase or decrease the number of values in the x- and y-axis. You can only re-scale the values. There's a few people on the forum, including myself, that have done this. There's no need to scale higher than 120-130 at most. Our ECUs don't register load like the Evo ECUs do and the loads are interpreted as lower values.

Do you mean that i can't or shouldn't increase the number of values in the X & Y axis's? Because i was able to increase it already, i just haven't tested to see if it'll read into them yet.
I can understand not needing as much load as the evo but could you explain a little deeper into how the load past 100 is interpreted for me. I don't quite fully understand.
And thanks for the reply,

And just wandering... when you rescaled it what did it look like in the end. What numbers did you get rid of and replace with?

Most of us increased to a higher interval at the lower load values in order to increase the higher load values. Here's what my values are for my fuel maps:
15 25 40 55 70 80 90 100 110 120
You cannot increase or decrease the amount of values from 10 for the x-axis. There is code in the ROM that states what size each table in the map is.
