4G93 IM swap
Ok i just got one of these today off a 4g93 99 Mirage (19bucks at the junkyard )
Only thing i need to know is on the vacuum line for the brake booster it is not where it is on the 4G94 manifold , it is a bit further (6 inchs) would i need to buy a longer vacuum line or is that not the right place where the brake booster vacuum line gos?

yeah mine looks just like that! yeah i brought a snippet of the line to the auto store and got some linking nipple things and more hose. dealing with the front part of the vacuum lines is also confusing as i think were missing a barb so i had to T my pcv valve into the breather hose coming off the intake, intake as in the rubber part the filter is attached too.

Yea I had to customize my hoses too. Just port the hell out of it and you should be good.
Once I swap the head then that will be port matched too.
Good luck

IIRC its 99% bolt up. You need 1 shorter bolt instead of all long ones which you probly can get from Mitstu. If I'm wrong please correct me cause I also want to do this mod once I find a junked Mirage...

need a hose to extend the brake booster. There are two verisons if i remember. One has the 3/8" vac hose near the tb and the other has the barb located towards the right side of the car. As far as bolting to the head, direct fit. Same gasket and all. Like stated above one or two shorter bolts as you will be removing the im support behind the throttle body. It is possible to reroute all vac lines to get rid of the brass fitting junction if you wana but its up to you.... Remember NA setup is gona be different from turbo setup with this mani. Valve cover breather and crankcase breather need to have pcv valves onthem if your boosted. If your na then just tee those both together and attatch to the 3/8" barb on the im...

As far is i know nobody has ever flowed this intake vs a 4g94 i plan on doing it just havent yet im polishing my 4g93 intake before it goes on. but going by the Characteristics the 4g94 intake will be better on torque because of the long runner's while the 93 has shorter runner better for higher rpm or horsepower also the 4g93 has a larger plenum comparted to the 4g94 so it should be better but no test other then butt dyno's have been done to my knowledge

Thanks guys for those of you that helped!!
I still have not even out it on or have finished porting it , just have been to buys .
Did 2 runners all the way opened up , still need other 2 and half of the throttle body side .
Have been really busy with other parts .
Sold Greddy Evo2 catback
Installed
Megan coilovers , new wheel bearings and outer tie rod ends .
Bought but still not on , new front end , Rexpeed type 1 spoiler , Tsx projectors .
So I'm not going to bother with this until i get another catback .
