Apexi Super Grounding System

is it really worth it and would it help improve throttle response?

My brother paid $180 for his on his Integra...he didn't notice a thing. It does have a pretty red light that illuminates all the time though. LOL

Worth it - no.
Improve throttle response - no.

This is an item for suckers only. Don't buy this unless you also have a Tornado intake.

Wait...you mean to tell me the Tornado doesn't work?? Dammit! I spent 10 whole dollars on that thing!!11!

I can see the logic in a voltage regulator: being a computer nerd, I know and have seen first hand what dirty power can do to electronic components. However, I couldn't really see any real performance benefit to a voltage regulator in a car. If you want better throttle response get a clean air filter and some fresh oil.

Yeah, simply switching from dino oil to full syn was proven in the latest SCC netted minimum of 4-5hp on an old Toyota and 11hp on a built B-series. Best try that first...

The only thing I could possibly see an improvement on from a grounding system is for the stereo. A buddy of mine had major altenator wine coming from his highs because of crummy grounding in his 'wonderful' probe..... lol... we set up some new ground points on the body and got rid of it.

yeah those are a rip off. i did however put 2 new grounds in my car. one from the battery to chassis/near ecu and one from the alternator to the battery to give the alternator a better ground. it was mainly for when i had my kicker in the trunk but i know it doesn't hurt to leave it there. anything more then that though is just plain unessesary like the ground kits you see on ebay with 50 cables.

Drives: 2008 red lancer GTS

i have the apexi in my car

hp gain prob not

is there a difference... yes but very minor, the only difference i feel is that when i have my AC on, i dont feel that there is a loss in power

cause i remember before when i turned on the AC i felt the minor power loss, but when after i put on the grounding system i dont

honesltly its just for better grounding, not for hp gains and throttle gains

so worth the buy, that is completly up 2 u

id say.... if it was $180 it would not b worth it but i got it for alot cheaper then that...... i mean who pays retail pricing anymore
