road race short air ram filter

it is just me , but i buy a piggy back for my 2008 gts , it suppose to drop a sec in 0-60 , but i go 1 week after test it on drag , 1/4 miles , and i do the same time, after install it?

2 week later , i buy the piggy back, put it on my car , take a laptop with the prog, same time at the drag 1/4 miles, and see my seting not in use in a drag, look like the piggy back setup his just good , when you go 110 mph or more?

the program set modification when you are 3.8 v on mass air flow or more, but mind never go up than 3.9 in a 1/4 miles run ? wow, do oyu have the same result than me?

I'm sorry, but I can't make any sense out of that. Don't know if English is a 2nd language for you or if it's a grammar problem, but I can only suggest you find a way to reword this?

I didn't understand it all but he's saying he's installed RRM parts and has seen no difference in time in the 1/4 mile.

Yeah I got the same from what he said...though his number comparisons mixed in with the test were confusing.

do you have a piggy back ecu?
do you check it adjust the voltage on mass air flow at 3.8 or more , some people said they had a better gas mileage with that , its impossible ,when you drive a normal run , the piggy back do no change, so how many people said they had a better mileage?

I doubt they seriously tested it...they probably just feel it

I tested it. In fact I tested it for a week. The piggy will give you better gas milage due to the tweaking of the air/fuel. It also gives you better tq.

And to answer your question about the 0-60 question, you must remember that it was tested with a proffessional driver in a auto-cross track, not a drag strip.

You also must take in consideration that your times (reaction) was probably inconsistant and the different temp in Canada.

Mods don't always make you faster. Don't believe everything you read. Every car is different, every car reacts differently to mods.

Every car reacts different to drivers too. Just because one driver is able to shave a full second off the time, doesn't mean ever joe-schmo out there can.
