no, the testpipe doesn't throw a CEL. Only headers. Also it would throw a different code, not a running lean and bad O2 sensor code

I hope that will fix your problem too.

Right, i'm bringing this back from the dead.

I finnally got round to replacing my O2 sensor yesterday, and guess what showed up today?

The CEL!!!!!! I put in my new O2 sensor, reset everything. And the CEL is back. I have emailed Rob, but if you have any suggestions throw them out there.
(i have triple checked my connections, they are good)

ok, i went to autozone and had the CEL ran.

this time only 2 codes came up. 2 for running lean. No bad O2 sensor code.

i emailed rob and he said to ignore it.

has this happened for anyone else? From what i've searched, i haven't seen anyone get codes for running lean

do you think the engine is actually running to lean? or is the ECU just getting confused?

it can't be good for my engine if i'm running to lean.

ECU getting confused, that's my guess.

Did you buy it off another member? If so, they might have tuned it to their mods.

I am in the same boat! Bought piggy from local member (LOVE IT!!!!). Only problem is that cel. Mine burned out so I really don't care but those same codes are always on. Only problem is I have to do smog check and will not pass. About ready to buy new maf. Any one else think that is a good route? Any other suggestions? My car runs great with the ecu for over a year. I also have checked with Rob at rrm, wasn't too nice to me. He didn't really want to try to help since i didn'y buy direct from them. I still say the have the best stuff for our cars though.

Mostly because they are the only ones who have products for us

Anyhow...
Usually, when something goes wrong with a stock piggy, it's the connections.

For a NA car the piggy leans out the fuel map. You might have some one try to tune it. (lean for NA and slightly rich for FI).
