i have an 08 lancer, but ive seen the earlier versions. I think it would be best to get a single DIN deck, and if you absolutely have to have it play DVDs, get a flip-out. doing a double DIN would require mounting your HVAC controls under where they are now by using an installation kit, and then finding or making your own double DIN install kit dash panel to hold the radio. it would be easier to just get a single DIN

you need a single din, unless you want to get rid of that little cubby and move your air controls where the cubby was. go for a 7" flip up dvd player. Dual is probably the cheapest 2-300, and there actually not that bad, jus dont ever ever ever get a PYLE SUMAS orDP VIDEO

Dual sucks, 2 people I know had dual flip outs and the screen completely broke JUST after the warranty went out.....if you want DVD in your car, spend the money and do it right....you will have to eventually anyways

lmao Calrion is garbage too......you dont seem to know your car audio....id spend the money and get a kenwood, alpine, pioneer, eclipse, or something like that. yeah it may cost anywhere from 700 bucks to 1300 bucks, but its worth it when you dont have to send it back to them and deal with ****ty customer support......trust me, if you buy a dual or another low-end brand, you will wind up buying the same thing again a year later, and hey, with that money you could have bought a high-end brand already!
