Drives: 09 Lancer GTS

Satellite pre-wire??

I have read on th einternet that the GTS come with pre-wire sirius. Is that wright?? If that's true what do I need to be able the sirius on the lancer

Take it to the dealer and ask them about it. When i got my car from the dealer (GT with SS package) they just called sirius and activated it for 6 months.

Hit your mode button on your radio untill it switches to "SAT Radio" and turn it to channel 00 or 01. If you see a set of random numbers flashing then you have sirius pre-installed and all you need to do is call them and activate it.

or

If you cant take it back to the dealer look behind the glove box on the right closest to the passenger door. If you see a vertical light grey box about 6" (150mm) high then you know its has come pre-installed.

If you have a after market head unit then these wont work with the OEM sat module listed above ^. You will need a new Sat tuner module sold seperate form sirius.
