Help!!! Rockford Fosgate+MP3 skipping

Hi,

I have 2009 lancer gts with Rockford Fosgate system. When listening to MP3 some songs are skipping continuously even if car Parked.

Mp3 cds are new and of Verbatim brand and has no scratch or anything and I have burned it @ home @ 16x speed.I have listened to same mp3 disk on my computer and home sound system but it didnt skip or anything. And in car it just skip with weird high pitch sound.

Is it problem with head unit or CDs?Any one with R/F has had any similar incident.

Any help is appreciated.

Vivroy

Try a different CD make, or type. Also try writing to the CD at a different speed. If you have access to another lancer try playing the exact CD in another headunit.

Worse case take it back and get it replaced under warranty.
