Drives: 03 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Turbo...

I will post pics tomorrow afternoon all i got are pics off my crackberry that arent very good. so i will take some decent ones tomorrow and post them. I am running low boost right now just to make sure everything is safe. Just like sick said. The Emusa 38mm waste gate came with a five, ten and sixteen pound spring i have the five pound in there right now. Boost controler tweeked in at about 3 pounds maybe a tad more or four even...

Yeah I figured i could not blow through the MAF during the build by seeing pictures of peoples lancer builds on this forum. But thank you for the advice. Still some little bugs to work out but getting there. I have to finish the electric powersteering pump conversion, delete the 02 front bank 02 senser. The electric fan that i bought keeps the motor running nice and cool and is on a timer that keeps running after i turn off the motor like a turbo timer. It blows at a refreshing 650 CFM...

The Turbo i have is a TO4B pretty big for this application but just what i wanted. starts to boost at 4000rpm to allow me a lot of traction on the lower end. I can get the specifics on the turbo once I find them. I was like a little kid when it came in the mail threw everything that came with it away... Anyway back to the daily grind

at 7lbs, the lancer only puts out about 195whp. so 30 hp difference from 4lbs of boost makes sense.

if it has a 5 lb spring, you'll be running 5 lbs. a boost controller only raises the boost levels, not lowering them under what a wastegate runs. and you should get a 1250 cfm fan, because 650 isn't going to be enough, after running the absolute **** out of it later on when you get all the kinks worked out. Just some stuff I know from the experience I had turboing my old car.

Didnt see this

+1 on this. If your wastegate spring is set at 5psi, you should be putting out 5psi. A boost controller only increases the boost from the spring's number. Sounds like you have a boost leak somewhere.

I wouldnt delete that one. It is the one the ECU uses to control fuel trims. The rear 02 is just there to verify the condition of the CAT. Why do you want to delete the first one anyway?

Turbo, not NA. The RRM turbo kits at 7psi were averaging 190-200whp.

Ok. The way I took what you said was that he's getting 30 whp out of the 3 or so lbs. and he said 165, which would mean we have 135 whp. But I see what you are saying now.
