dsm turbo possibillities
ok so my friend might be able to toss me a stock turbo from a '98 eclipse GSX.
I was wondering what turbo this is and if it would be easy to build a kit with this turbo to run 5 or 6 psi on a 2002 lancer es automatic.
Also was wondering what i would need fuel management wise i've gotta a pretty good handle on what its gonna take from reading the many useful threads on here just not sure what im gonna need to run the 5-6 psi i wanna run.
thanks.

2nd gen turbo is the hair dryer t25.
Any turbo will work, a turbo is a turbo.
You'll need a manifold that will bolt up to the turbo.
It'll be easier to use the 16g from the evo and use the intercooler and intercooler piping

if yur gonna run that turbo look at the rrm mani. it uses the 7cm circle inlet like the eclipses do. as for fuel you can easilly get a hold of some used subie 440's off an 02 wrx and then reflash the ecu with a tactrix cable.
i also have a full set of evo 8 i/c pipes with a bung in it for a 5th injector setup (all for sale btw) that allows you to keep your 4 stock injectors and the 5th injector will only come in under boost.

thanks for the info JRR. i noticed the 5th injector set up you had for sale. if i do get this turbo down the road and you still have that for sale when i start to get some cash flowin consider it sold.

i have a garrett "TD05" Turbo in my basement, its one of the largest turbos ive seen in a while(obviousely ive seen some big ones, but not on a car that was streetable).. 3invh Vband intake/exhaust, and also a 3 inch vband hotside instead of it being a 4bolt.. i think its a t4, but its huge, it was suppose to go on my dads piper cub airplane like 10 years ago, never used.. ive been thinkin about usein it on my car! (no not really, its bigger then a gt45r, donno the specs to it though)
