I've done that for a while and have found it near impossible to tune correct. My injectors will be installed soon

believe me this will be for a short period of time.. getting it all installed and running is the big part for me cause i have a lot of buds at SCLC who can help with the tune and or installing fuel management and stuff...
then its new engine time!!
because boost will take the life of your engine OP!!! but not to bad if your carefull

This was my biggest worry doing this. Also I know its gonna be alot harder to get the parts past the misses if I already have it "running" and then say I need to upgrade some parts so I am biting the bullet and getting as much as possible now before I put a single part on

As long as you have a good tune and dont redline it while driving all the time the motor should last forever on low boost.

101-107k miles.. blew it up at 16psi on stock internals.. 107-115kcurrently now and running strong and i abuse it twice as much.
over time the piston rings will definatelly break down and u will lose compression, they suck. just spend a grand on pistons and rods and run her to the ground!

no prob man...i gradually taught myself how to use the emanage, ut i recently found a tactrix cable (i was gonna get the one on sclc, but found a better deal here on evom) and gonna swap for that when i get back
the install was actually a bit easier than i thought...the longest part is wiring the gauges...lol

Amen to that brotha lol. Those gauges were a PITA. My entire install technically took a little over a week but I had to work my 40 and I did head gasket head studs, flywheel, clutch, ported intake mani, gauges. Basically my car went from bone stock to turbo terror with all nessasary supporting mods all at once.

Ya Mine were not hard just took a long time I soldered and shrinkwrapped everything and anything I connected well I take that back getting my pillar pod to snap back in was a PITA. I am very happy I took as long as I did to do everything I dont have a single drop of oil or coolant. Turbo spools up very nice not a single error code since I got my exhaust done no smoke nothing!!! Now if I can just get my damn tune figured out Ill be good
